Meet Deslie, Your Guide to Holistic Wellness
Hi, I’m Deslie, a Holistic Health and Wellness Coach with a concentration in Wholefood Nutrition. My passion for health and nutrition began in 2012 when I started experiencing persistent gut issues. I began questioning the connection between my diet, my body, and the environment—and what I discovered completely transformed my life.
After transitioning to a whole-food lifestyle and embracing seasonal, local, and unprocessed foods, I saw dramatic improvements in my health and confidence, which I had never experienced growing up. The change was so powerful that I felt compelled to share it with others.
I opened Coconut Hut Café in Phoenix, Arizona, where I had the honor of serving a diverse community of individuals—from athletes and vegans to those with diabetes, celiac disease, and even cancer patients. It was here that I first witnessed the incredible power of food to heal, energize, and transform lives. The café’s success led me to start working one-on-one with clients, helping them through personalized meal prep and nutritional guidance.
Life soon led me to focus on growing my own family, and I chose to close the café. However, my passion for health and wellness never faded. At 37 years old, I decided to deepen my understanding of nutrition and returned to school, earning my credentials as a Holistic Health and Wellness Coach. Since then, I have dedicated myself to empowering individuals to take control of their health, tailoring solutions to their unique needs and lifestyles.
Today, I work closely with doctors who refer clients to me for support with metabolic conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and other health challenges. My goal is to bridge the gap between medical care and lifestyle changes, showing people how food and wellness can complement their treatment plans.
I remain a passionate advocate for a whole-food diet while respecting that every individual’s biochemistry and lifestyle are unique. Whether you’re looking to address specific health concerns, create a deeper relationship with food, or build a more balanced lifestyle, I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way.
