What You Eat Is Important, But What You Digest And Absorb Matters More

Gut Health, we are learning more and more of its importance.

It’s essential to help us not only digest what we eat, but also absorb the nutrients from what we eat.

And the benefits go far beyond that.

Our gut health can influence our πš’πš–πš–πšžπš—πš’πšπš’ 𝚝𝚘 πšœπš’πšŒπš”πš—πšŽπšœπšœπšŽπšœ and even has a direct influence over our πš–πšŽπš—πšπšŠπš• πš‘πšŽπšŠπš•πšπš‘.

Yup our gut, also known as our 2nd brain because it actually has more nerve cells than the spinal cord. It’s a big deal guys, and I’m fascinated with this topic. However, if our stomachs cannot digest and absorb our foods, then it doesn’t matter what you eat, you wont be getting the essential nutrition’s from your food. How do you know if you have any digestion or absorption issues? There are many tests you can take to help you figure this out scientifically, for example Viome is a company that I have used in the past. My test results determined I had digestion and absorption issues with the proteins and fats, no wonder I was had stomach issues when I ate dairy and red meats. I assisted my body with probiotics and digestive enzymes and now bloating is not as common for me as it used to be.

However, if you don’t want to take a gut microbiome test, you can always learn to listen to you body and perhaps implement some of my Gut Health tips located here.
