I work with many clients who want to get their physical health back on track and one of the goals almost all clients need help with is drinking more water.

 

Drinking water can have several effects on metabolism, which refers to the processes by which your body converts food and beverages into energy. While water itself doesn't directly increase metabolism, it can have indirect benefits that support metabolic functions. Here are a few ways in which drinking water can potentially impact metabolism. :

 

Hydration: Staying adequately hydrated is essential for overall bodily functions, including metabolism. Water is involved in various metabolic reactions, such as the breakdown and utilization of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. When you're dehydrated, these processes may be hindered, potentially slowing down your metabolism.
